| Experiences of a Truth Commision- Mandate for REKOM |
| From 17 to 19.6. 2010th Centre Human Rights Centre in coperation with Documenta, organized a two-day expert meeting on the future mandate of the regional truth commission for the countries of the former Yugoslavia (RECOM). The meeting was attended by international experts and members from various truth commissions: Yasmin Sook (South Africa ), Howard Varney (South Africa) and Felix Reategui Carillo (Peru), then members of the working group for drafting the RECOM-term, and representatives of Documenta, the Humanitarian Law Fund and the Human Rights Center, which aimed to create a draft model final term RECOM-a. Within such a session was held and public presentation for the media to be unveiling our work in this important regional initiative of civil society organizations called the Coalition for REKOM. |
