After a long illness on Sunday in Zagreb Ivo Skrabalo died. Famous Croatian film director, screenwriter and film critic and politician born in Sombor on February 19th 1934, and after high school in 1952. he moved to Zagreb, where he remained until his death. Beside rich directing career, he was extremely active in political life, first of all he stood for a democratic and pluralistic society, and was recognized as a person of high moral values. |
