The Centers' Special Human Rights Library started work at the beginning of 2003.
The library contains various publications, periodicals, AV and CD materials as well as a collection of international, regional and domestic legal documents primarily from the human rights field. The Library has also collected documents and publications produced by United Nations agencies and other international and domestic organizations.
Within the existing classical materials, the library also provides and identifies Internet sources on basic human rights documents, instruments and decisions of international organizations and institutions, laws, educational programs, activities and reports on the situation of human rights in the region.
As an important component, the library is going to establish a specialized digital database containing information from reliable sources among NGO's, governmental authorities and research institutions in Croatia.
To its members the library provides a multitude of possibilities to learn and research about human rights by loaning its book fond, free access to Internet, as well as professional assistance to indentifying relevant information resources.
