Overview of anti-discrimination policies:Croatia included

In the published study on the legal dimension of the policy of eliminating discrimination in Croatia, for the first time Croatia was a part of this legal review of EU and national policy of eliminating discrimination. The study's author is Lovorka Kusan and Human Rights Center as an orderer in collaboration with the Human Consultancyjem. The study came in the framework of the European Commission, European Network of Legal Experts in the Non-discrimination Field

Within the same project there  was published the European Anti-dscrimination Law Review, a review of legal practice in the field of combating discrimination which is also for first time includes Croatia.

WOrking group report on options of HRC and Ombudsman merger

On the initiative of the Croatian Vice Prime Minister for Social Affairs and Human Rights Professor Slobodan Uzelac, organized by the Human Rights Office of the Croatian Government, on January 12 2011. in the premises of the Croatian Government's was held presentation of the Report of the Working Group on the possible consequences of the merger of the Office of the Ombudsman and the Center for Human Rights with the aim of rationalizing the system of protection and promotion of human rights in Croatia. The present report were produced by Prof. Anamaria Musa and Dr. Viktor Gobac the Law Faculty in Zagreb, Mrsc. Denis Redžepagić from the Zagreb Institute of Economics.

Human Rights Center presents the final version of technical analysis, titled "Evaluation of the Croatian Free Legal Aid Act and it's implemenatation / Evaluation of the Free Legal Assistance in Croatia and its implementation"

These are independent and professional analysis and evaluation of implementation of the existing Law on Free Legal Assistance in Croatia, with specific recommendations for its "improvement". Evaluation prepared by independent international experts: Professor Jon Johnsen of the University of Oslo, Professor Georg Stawa, the Ministry of Justice in Austria and Professor Alan Uzelac, Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb.

Conclusions of international Anti discirmination conference

On January 14. and 15. 2011 was held an international / regional conference on combating discrimination in the organization of the Center for Peace Studies, Baba, Center for Human Rights, the Croatian Law Center, CERD, Center for Peace Vukovar and the Association "a chat through life" in the House of Human Rights in Zagreb.
